Today was a lovely day (for me that is), about 71 degrees, overcast. So we decided to check a few things off our “things to do” list. We started out by going to the Bluff View Art District. We drove by this section when we took the Double Decker Bus Ride. Good thing we took that ride, cause this place wasn’t on our original list. The place has a bunch of small restaurants and a few old hotels there.
They even had a sculpture garden you could walk thru
That sculpture is supposed to represent the Tennessee River.
Then there was this big honkin Holly bush
At least I think it is Holly
Then we checked out the Hunter Museum, just the outside, we’ll check out the inside some other day
This mansion, part of the museum, was donated to the city of Chattanooga, they later added two side additions
They had some sculptures outside too
Same thing, just up close, see the little chair in the network of wires?
Remember the bicycle built for two with the number 2 on it? This one has a 7 on it. We figure they are mile markers for the River Walk, cause it comes all the way downtown
We crossed over it, but I can tell you, neither of us cared for it at all. It doesn’t instill much confidence in the bridge when half way across they have a board down to replace one of the glass panes that apparently broke. Jeez!
He even had pink nail polish on his toe nails, aaaaah!
It is a pedestrian only bridge
We figure this is probably what the Stillwater lift bridge will look like after they covert it to a pedestrian bridge. The bridge was fun to walk over and had very good views
We decided if we were going to live in a downtown area,
this would be our top choice, so far that is 😉

Neat Sculptures! That is some beautiful Country and impressive downtown.
Well Done Admiral!
Did you get this?
