It finally got warm enough on the 19th for Gary to put on his shorts
First day for shorts
I settled for flip flops and kept my jeans on 🙂
Gary decided to put in lighting in the electrical panel. We got this nice strip of lighting from our friends at BearTrax (our favorite bait, tackle, hardware, grocery store, gas station in Hillman).
First we have to show off the electrical wires

Wow, what an installation job!
Gary wanted to install the lights because the lighting is not the best there and he needs a little extra lighting when he is checking the gauges. We had one dead switch that wasn’t hooked up to anything. Gary used that switch to be our on/off switch for the rope lighting. See how pretty it looks

Oooooooo. You could almost use this for mood lighting ;).
That is it for this project. We are going to visit Pensacola soon, can’t wait!

No, just white, but boy are they bright!
LED’s are very bright compared to incandescent. Maybe Gary can replace the flip switch with a dimmer and get the night glare down for easier viewing. THEN you’ll have mood lighting…;)
We had to come back from Hawaii on the 11th after 10 days. What a temp shock to wake up to -3° instead of 71…:(
Dave N is back in Pensacola. Maybe you guys want to go golfing…:)
If Gary could of found a 12V dimmer, he probably would have put it on :).
Ahhhh, 10 days in Hawaii, that must have been awful to have to come home. What a great place to visit.
We’ll have to give Dave a call, no golf for us though, we are the boaters, remember?
Next time you go for a drive and see a big truck stop, they should have a 12v dimmer.
Yeah, we were basking in mid 80’s and sun for 9 of the 10 days. Then we came home to 3 degrees BELOW zero…NOT fun… 😦
I was just teasing you with the golf… 🙂 It seems that is most of what he does down there.
We’ll have to keep an eye out for the truck stop. I know you were just teasing, he does love his golf. I think he is mad when Sue comes down cause he can’t golf as much 🙂
