You guessed it, my daughter and her family came for a visit. We stayed close to home because things hadn’t quite gotten back to normal yet. But we sure had fun. We went swimming

The turtle from last year sprung a leak so we had to get a BIGGER and BETTER one

Then we did a little fishing

We did some real fishing on the dock. That’s a sting ray!

And we went for a boat ride of course

Some of us got a little tired and had to take a nap

We saw one of our old boats that is still down here

And we saw this tree

Have you ever seen that before? That trees roots are all over the palm tree. Pretty cool.

Then we saw this crazy person

You’re not in Minnesota buddy, there’s probably a bunch of alligators following them in hopes the kid falls.

We also were able to get in a round of golf

And let me just say, it was hotter than a toot that day. I was sweatin bullets.

The kids stayed thru Easter this year so we had to color Easter eggs

I bet that is the first time that has been done here LOL.

Then we got the kayak out

There was even a little quiet time amongst all the chaos

Of course Gary had to do his favorite joke, “Pull my finger”

I don’t think they’ll be doing that again for a while.

After a nice visit we drove them to the airport and waved goodbye

Bye, we’ll miss you.

Lucky for us there was plenty of the snack stash left behind. We’ll be eating like Kings for a long time
