Our daughter, her husband and their two boys visited us right before this Corona thing blew up. I told them to be sure and sanitize their hands and stuff after they got off their plane. So they made it here in one piece and no one got sick from the plane ride.
While they were here, we did go to the Yacht Club for pancake breakfast before it was closed

and we were able to get out and about and visit a few parks

Family visit
Aren’t these just the cutest owls you’ve ever seen?

Owl number 1

Owl number 2
We did see this very interesting and different spider while we were on one of our walks.

Come into my web said the spider to the HUMAN!
And we were able to do a little shopping

Can you tell who’s who? LOL
We took a few boat rides

Sanibel light house

Huh, what do I want to be when I grow up?
Otherwise, the activities we did were pretty close to home. Like

Fishing on the dock with live shrimp
I was surprised at the number of different fish they were able to catch right from the dock. Gary got his finger bit by one fish while he was trying to take it off the hook. It drew blood and everything. Good thing the First Mate came to the rescue with a band-aide and some Neosporin.

Fish in the pool, where you always got a bite.

Riding the wild turtle!

Ride the wild Papa, with boat noise effects and all.

Kayak rides down the dangerous canal.
Everyone seemed to have a good time. But eventually it was time to leave and head back to reality.
Probably a good thing they left when they did….

Pool….closed for business
The pool was closed for the following week. We are getting a new roof
But they’ll be back next year and we’ll have even more fun!
Your very colorful spider is called a Spiny Orb Weaver Spider AND they come in different colors!
You did some darn cool things together! Hopefully, it will tide you over until you are together again.
Great, Fun photos of your visit from those Yankee kin of yours. 😉 LOVE the hat photo of Eddie and Papa!!
Did the pool close for the roof?
Or did someone find a Baby Ruth in the pool?
Remember Caddyshack?
