Easter came and went.  Smokey helped me package up the goodies for the kids

If he’s not helping me, he’s meditating on Gary’s lap 

Sometimes he is a pain in the patupi.  When we are watching TV, he likes to sit on the TV stand.  Right in the middle of the TV.  We have the “closed Caption” on because someone is a little hard of hearing and we don’t want to blast out the neighbors.  So when Smokey sits in the middle of the TV, he blocks the words.  Darn cat!  So we fixed the problem by doing this

He was still able to squeeze his little furry butt up there but at least he is more off to one side.  Look!  He’s giving us the evil eye!  You don’t scare me mister, lets not forget who’s in charge of the can opener ;).

One day I was out in the yard watering our new garden curbing,  We had our back yard all landscaped and decided this was something we couldn’t live without.

Apparently you have to keep it wet till it cures.  That’s what I was told and I can follow directions.

Anyway, I saw this really weird bug

I at first thought it was some kind of spider carrying something on it’s back.  Now I don’t know.  Colorful little bugger but definitely weird.  If anyone knows what it is, please let me know 😉

So while we are enjoying our nice sunny weather down here, people up north are enjoying an especially LONG winter season.
