So…..how many of you were paying attention? Who caught the aardvark – armadillo swich-a-rooie? That is what happens when you retire? You think you are saying the proper word and your not. I better get more brain games 🙂
It was another sunny day today so we decided to check out another section of the beach. We had taken a drive the day before and spotted this beach
so we came back and had our lunch. It was pretty windy so we were able to watch people kite flying
No, that is not poop coming from the kites, that is that spot that is somewhere on the camera lens. I think I’ll have to take it in somewhere and see if they can get rid of it. Sorry 🙂
You can tell by this picture that the sand has really be pushed back toward the shore
They had these nice little spots where you could walk on the beach or sit under cover at the picnic tables.
Periodically, they have flag flying to show you the beach conditions like the yellow flag in the picture above. Here is a list
The top one, with two red flags is “water closed to public. The one red flag means “High Hazard – high surf and strong currents”. The yellow one means “Medium hazard”, the green flag means “low hazard” and the purple flag means “Dangerous Marine Life”. I don’t exactly know what “Dangerous Marine Life” is, probably sharks or jelly fish. Doesn’t matter, water is too cold for me to go into no matter what color the flags are 🙂
Here is a funny sign I saw at a launch ramp not too far from the marina
:), of course it doesn’t take much to amuse the feeble.
Well, time for Gary and I to hug and smooch. Hopefully you enjoyed your Valentines day too.

Last paragragh … TMI 😉
What an amazing beach! SO glad you are there! 40’s today, snow tomorrow and then back into the deep freeze here.
Thanks for the chuckles!
